Not affiliated with any DMV
My Permit Pass is an independent educational platform. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Department of Public Safety (DPS), Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), or any other government licensing authority. Use of official state or agency names is solely to describe the subject matter of our study content, not to imply any official relationship.
No guarantee of passing
We provide study materials, practice questions, and learning tools intended to help you prepare for your permit or knowledge test. We do not guarantee that you will pass any official examination. Your results depend on your personal preparation, the specific questions on your exam, applicable state rules, and factors outside our control.
Study materials are based on publicly available handbooks
Our content is developed from publicly available state driver handbooks and common exam topics. Official requirements, test formats, passing scores, and handbook content may change at any time. Always verify current rules, fees, and eligibility requirements directly with your state's licensing agency before scheduling or sitting any exam.
Official DMV exam language availability varies by state
The language(s) in which the official DMV knowledge exam is offered varies by state and may change. As of the date of this page:
- Florida: The official knowledge exam is offered in English only (effective February 6, 2026). My Permit Pass practice questions for Florida are displayed in English only to reflect this.
- Texas: The official exam is offered in English and Spanish.
- California and New York: The official exam is offered in multiple languages. My Permit Pass supports all available languages for those states.
Our AI tutor and site interface remain available in all supported languages to help you learn, even if the official exam in your state is offered in fewer languages. Always confirm the current languages available at your local DMV before your test date.
Not legal, driving instruction, or professional advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, professional driving instruction, or any other form of professional advice. Our content is for general educational purposes only. For official guidance on licensing requirements, eligibility rules, or driving laws, consult your state's official driver handbook, a licensed driving instructor, or a qualified legal professional.
AI-assisted features
Where available on our application platform, AI-generated explanations and tutoring responses are provided for educational purposes only. AI systems can make mistakes — responses may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Use them as a supplementary study aid and always cross-reference with your official state driver handbook. Do not rely solely on AI-generated content when preparing for any official examination.
Content accuracy and updates
We make reasonable efforts to keep our practice questions and study content accurate and current. However, traffic laws, testing procedures, and handbook content change periodically. My Permit Pass is not responsible for any loss, cost, or consequence arising from reliance on outdated or inaccurate content. Check your state's official driver handbook for the most current information.

Our site may link to external resources, including official state DMV websites, driving schools, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party website. Links do not constitute an endorsement.
